EEGMaster Curriculum

Sarah Durica, M.D.

Welcome to the EEGMaster EEG Curriculum! This site guides you step by step through EEG interpretation, from foundational skills to more advanced concepts, reinforced through repetition, questions, and practice reports. The curriculum works best alongside hands‑on EEG reading with attendings at your institution, but it can also be completed independently if those opportunities aren’t available. Our goal is to help you build confidence in EEG interpretation and reporting. Our content is expanding rapidly, so check back regularly for new features and updates.

Content Overview:

  • Video Tutorials: Build your EEG interpretation skills through curated, high-yield tutorial videos
  • Readings: Our comprehensive EEG primer establishes the foundational knowledge you’ll need, complemented by recommendations for additional core readings from trusted sources such as the American Clinical Neurophysiology Society
  • EEG Review: Strengthen your understanding by reviewing example EEGs from our extensive atlas, paired with instructional commentary to reinforce key concepts
  • Self-Assessment: Test and deepen your learning with self assessment questions and opportunities to practice EEG interpretation and reporting. For an even broader set of practice questions with associated feedback, we recommend our Q-Bank and EEG of the Week questions

Registration and Access:

  • Register for a free account to unlock the full features of the EEGMaster site, including self-assessment tools
